Our story

Welcome to Ink’D Custom 3D Prints! We’re an independent 3D printing setup based right here in Baxley, Georgia, driven by a simple idea: if you can dream it up, we can print it.

What started out as standard maker curiosity—messing around with printers, tweaking slicer settings, and pushing multi-color prints to their limits—quickly turned into a full-on passion for custom additive manufacturing. Today, we turn digital files, rough ideas, and cool concepts into tangible, high-quality gear you can hold in your hands.

How We Do Things

We aren't just pressing print and walking away. We obsess over the details:

  • Finding the exact right layer height for super smooth surfaces

  • Tuning print tolerances so functional parts snap together perfectly

  • Dialing in multi-material setups to make multi-color prints pop without cheap shortcuts

Whether it's custom tool organizers built to take a beating, fun novelty collectibles, or detailed pop-culture display pieces, every single item gets our full attention before it leaves the print bed.

From the Print Bed to Your Hands

At the end of the day, we’re makers serving makers, collectors, and local businesses. We handle everything from quick prototype prints to detailed hand-painted finishes, treating every project like it’s something going straight onto our own desk.

Got a model ready to print or an idea you want to bring to life? Drop us a line—let’s print something awesome together.

Frequently asked questions

1. What file formats do you accept for 3D printing?

  • Answer: Ideally, we work with standard 3D files like .STL, .3Mf,.STEP, or .OBJ.

  • Don't have a file? No problem! You can describe your idea, provide a sketch, or let us know what you're looking for, and we can help source or model it for you.

2. What materials and colors do you offer?

  • Answer: We primarily print using durable, high-quality filaments like PLA, Silk PLA, PETG, and TPU.

  • Thanks to our advanced hardware toolchain, we specialize in multi-color and multi-material prints, allowing for crisp color breaks without relying on cheap stickers or hand-assembly.

3. How is pricing calculated?

  • Answer: Pricing depends on a few factors: the size and volume of the print, the material used, the complexity of the design (such as multi-color mixing or custom support requirements), and any post-processing or hand-painting finishing work requested. Reach out for a custom quote!

4. What is your turnaround time?

  • Answer: Because every job is custom-printed, turnaround times vary depending on the queue and complexity of the print. Standard prototypes and custom orders typically print and ship within a few business days. We’ll give you an estimated timeframe when you approve your quote.

5. Do you ship, or is it local pickup only?

  • Answer: We are based right here in Baxley, Georgia, and offer local options, but we also package securely and ship nationwide so your custom prints arrive safely on your doorstep.
